RESEARCH ASSISTANT POSITION

The following vacancy exists for a Research Assistant role at the Forest Sector Charter Council (FSCC). If you are interested in the position, we invite you to apply in writing:

RESEARCH ASSISTANT

Reference: FSCC 2024/02
5-year Contract
Salary: R370 000.00 per annum (all-inclusive salary package)

Applications should be accompanied by a recently updated, comprehensive Resume as well as certified copies of all qualification(s) [Matric certificate, ID-document and Driver's license must also be attached] with at least three referees. Should you be in possession of a foreign qualification, it must be accompanied by an evaluation certificate from the South African Qualification Authority (SAQA). Failure to submit all the requested documents will result in the application being disqualified. Correspondence will be limited to short listed candidates only. If you have not been contacted within two (2) months after the closing date of this advertisement, please accept that your application was unsuccessful. Suitable candidates will be subjected to a personnel suitability check (criminal record check, financial record check, qualification or study verification, and previous employment verification), psychometric, and skills/knowledge test. Successful candidates may also be subjected to security clearance processes. Successful candidates will be appointed on a probation period of six (6) months. The FSCC reserves the right not to make an appointment to the advertised posts.
